Image
Okay, gang! The second episode of my serial, the Gunstock Club, is now available for FREE from ebook retailers. This is The Gunstock Club 2: The Cabin : You can see it here: https://books2read.com/u/b5a2e6 What’s this one about? Here’s how the marketing guys say I should pitch it: In Episode One, we met Andy Newhouse, a middle-aged American trapped in a harsh Mexican jail, falsely convicted of drug smuggling and murder. Despite the grim conditions, Andy has managed to survive through sheer will, razor-sharp instincts, and unlikely gestures of support—including a mysterious card from a devotee of Santa Muerte. Just when Andy believes he is doomed to rot in prison, he's summoned to meet a well-dressed stranger who delivers stunning news: new evidence proves Andy's innocence. But the shock deepens when a phone call reveals the voice of a man Andy was accused of murdering—alive and well. Meanwhile, in a different part of the world, we are introduced to Christina Hamilton, a heads...

Big News...the Gunstock Club!

Image
Hi, Everyone,   Big News today!!! I have just published the first episode of my serial, The Gunstock Club , on Smashwords (and other fine ebook retailers). And, chapter one is free! What’s the serial about? Well, here’s how my marketing guy says I ought to pitch it: The Gunstock Club – A new series from T.J. Wise! They thought the Little Man would go down quietly. They were dead wrong. Andy Newhouse seemed like the ideal target: small, harmless, and easy to frame. So they pinned a murder on him and sent him off to rot in a Mexican jail. But they made one crucial mistake—they let him out. Now, Andy’s on the hunt for truth—and for revenge. Meanwhile, young lovers Christina Hamilton, a headstrong heiress, and Jeremy Parker, an ambitious entrepreneur, are drawn into the same dark conspiracy. They, too, are desperate for answers. But can they uncover the truth before Andy Newhouse reaches them? The Gunstock Club is an ongoing series with a ...

A Veronica who isn't quite...but she's sexy

Image
I asked my prompt guy to if he ever had versions of my characters who didn't look like my characters. He said, "Sure! It happens all the time." Then I asked him to send me one picture that didn't quite work out. Here it is. This was supposed to be Veronica, but it came out looking a bit fantastic. But, you got to confess, she is sexy. Enjoy! Also, just to let you know, I've still go the two books on Amazon, but I will be doing something new on Smashwords very soon. Don't forget to check out the book at:  https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FPXQZZ6

Another Sewell...and his friend

Image
So here's another image of Sewell and his buddy Sam that I got my promptographer guy, mjt.  Actually, in this picture, Sewell looks a bit younger than I think of him. And he is much less beat up than Sewell. But I do love the Rabbit. Don't forget to check out the book at:  https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FPXQZZ6

Another Veronica

With Poison Dwell

So I'm still promoting Dangerous Rabbits (In Albuquerque), but in the near term I'll be posting about a new book, With Poison Dwell . Stay tuned for more! It's here:  https://a.co/d/gAS0HiL

And Sewell himself

Image
Hi, Everyone, So here's the main character of Dangerous Rabbits , Sewell Arthur Maxwell...a nice guy who tends to talk to giant imaginary rabbits. He also has the odd habit of killing off murderers and child abusers. But given his history, he's got good reason. Well, at least I think this is him. I asked for my friend the promptographer to come up with a portrait of him and this is what he sent me. Tell me if you think the picture matches the character.

Anyway, here’s yet more art “inspired” by my book Dangerous Rabbits (in Albuquerque). In fact, here’s the number one most Dangerous rabbit of ‘em all, Sam himself.   Again, this is from a friend of mine.   Anyway, do check out the book.
